Located on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, the University of New Orleans shares the vision of
an advanced technology community with university, industry and government partners.

The UNO Research and Technology Park provides the opportunity for commercial and governmental enterprises to avail themselves of the resources of a major research university, its faculty and students in a technologically advanced and scenic setting. With world-class departments of naval architecture and marine engineering, business administration, communications disciplines, high performance computing, biotechnology, advanced materials and manufacturing, environmental and energy research, UNO offers a wide range of opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration. The University is currently involved in a number of collaborations and partnerships with industry and government through the UNO Research and Technology Foundation, Inc., the builder and operator of the Park and owner of most of the Park facilities. The Park is the physical interface among academia, industry and government — ideas and people — in an environment conducive to the growth of ideas, technology and business opportunities.

The Park buildings are currently occupied by multiple tenants. There are also major conference facilities in the Park. A hotel for the site is now in the planning stage.

Space is currently available in some Park buildings.
